Are you feeding her a dry food that she was known to eat before? Ferrets can be picky and don't easily take to a new, strange food.

If you don't know what she was fed in the past, you may have to try several different foods. Ferrets that are given up so young may have been fed a cheap, grocery store cat food. You could try several of those and once you find one she eats, use that to slowly wean her to a better quality food.
