**As a vet, I would never do that. Antibiotics should be used when needed to
treat infections, not given as "a boost". Steroids, while beneficial in many
cases, again should not be given in such a generic manner, but should be
prescribed for specific individuals in specific situations.
A vitamin, maybe - if indicated, antibiotics and steroids, no.**
