I found it interesting that making medications for exotic animals
leads the list for compounding medications in this article, but do
not know if it is the most prevalent use.

BTW, for those who do not know, a list of compounding pharmacies that
help ferrets (and many of which ship) is available in the Reference
Shelf which you can find in the Files section of the FHL website.
