Yes, the Tennessee Panel takes about 2 weeks to get back.
This is a specific panel just for adrenal disease in ferrets and run
by the Univ of Tennessee I believe. It is only run once a week, and
only by the endocrin lab. I sent it in once to save some money, my
vet drew it, spun it down, froze it, and I arranged to overnight mail
it on ice. I called the place myself and spoke to the lab and kept
checking in and still got the results maybe 10 days later.

It cost me $150 plus shipping, my vet normally charges $200 if he
does it all himself.
The actual test is about $150 cost to the vet, then whatever to draw and
send it.

I only do this when there are no obvious signs of adrenal disease, but
perhaps the animal is losing weight or only aggressive and you want
confirmation.

I am sorry for your loss.
