Subject: [ferrethealth] treats, are they bad?

Morning Everyone,
I have a couple ???, first off is furits and nuts arent they bad for ferrets? choc its
suposed to be bad too right. then the can a/d that the vets give to our kids after
surgeys and if they need it for health reasons is it not good for them. reason I asked
is cause I was told i was being mean not giving fruits and nut treats to my shelter and
personal ferrets. I give them cheeroes and kits once in awhile to them and once in a
blue moon I let them have some creamy penut butter a lick or 2 and thats about it..
tell me what are the best treats to give to your kids cause I do want them to have
whats best for them but now im feeling im not doing right by my ferrets and keeping
them away from stuff thats i thought wasnt good for them. im starting to get confused
here cause i have a shelter telling me one thing when i lerarned from reserch on line
about stuff like this and from my ferrets for dummies books and other ferrets books
and my vet tell s me not to give nuts and fruits and diry prods thats a no no too. just
need some reasurance is all.. Thanks Sue
