BTW, if a body is frozen pathology becomes impossible for the vast majority of things because freezing ruptures the cells, and even a refrigerated ferret body begins decomposition within hours, starting with the gallbladder and GI tract. Formalin is the way to go with needed tissues removed for study and preserved in the correct manner for those tissues. There is detailed information in some past posts by Dr. Bruce Williams.
