Subject: [ferrethealth] Liver cysts

Has anyone had a ferret with benign liver cysts?
I'm curious about the effects on the body's other systems since my
little girl has twice had weird seizure-like episodes which led to lots
of tests with these liver cysts being the only abnormality found.
Yes, she is insulinomic but BG at time of these episodes (first time
was last summer, then yesterday) was in the 90's. Yesterday she
was flat out and in intense pain. Finally ultrasound at the
emergency center revealed a large "mass" on liver or gall bladder.
when aspirated, this mass turned out to be a fluid-filled cyst. They
tapped 7 cc's of this fluid to relieve Lady's discomfort but I'm
worried about a recurrence.
I'm also wondering if maybe her chronic intermittent diarrhea has
been caused by the cyst occluding the gall bladder/bile duct?
Any input would be appreciated!
