Subject: [ferrethealth] RE: Ferret oozing liquid through her skin on back legs (post Lupron)

Is a low potassium level (hypokalemia) a possibility with this ferret? I.E. does the ferret have kidney disease, or is the ferret on diuretics, or is the ferret taking any herbal preparations that imitate a low aldosterone level? I think that licorice root is among the ones that can do that, but check me on that.
