Subject: [ferrethealth] broken tooth
To: ferrethealth@smartgroups.com

Hi all, River is a 3 yo deaf male. I adopted him a little over a year ago. He had left adrenal surgery last January (and very happy to say) with out any complications. His left upper canine tooth has always been a clearish-offwhitish color since I had him. His Vet has seen it, but did not think it needed to be removed. Just recently, the color has changed to a more brownish color, and just on Saturday, I noticed a tiny bit of the tip was broken off. His gums are not red or anything. Since the tooth is now broken and a brown color, should I be considering having it removed? I'm worried about infection starting.
Thanks for any advice,
Andrea
