I assume you mean LUPRON? A good source for a single, ferret-sized dose of the 4-month Lupron Depot is Professional Arts Pharmacy, 800-832-9285. Your vet can purchase a 1 mg or 2 mg dose that comes ready to mix and inject. As mentioned, it lasts 4-months and is the right amount for one ferret.
If you want the 1-month Lupron Depot, I think you can buy that at just about any pharmacy, online or local store. I have not heard of any sort of shortage. Purchased this way, you'll get enough Lupron for many ferrets, but if your vet treats a lot of ferrets, this may be what he wants.
