Ringers, or Lactated Ringers, is a solution used to supply water and electrolytes. It can be given intravenously or subcutaneously (under the skin). This is given to a ferret (or other animals or people) that need extra fluids. The ferret may be ill and not taking in enough liquids through food or drink.
