Subject: [ferrethealth] Weight gain product

I was wondering if anyone could tell if they know anything about a product called STAT. My vet said it was comparable to rebound or carnivore care. It looks like a clearer yellow than carnivore care but you only need to give 1/2 cc at every meal. he said he wasn't sure if it would work on ferrets but it is used for newborn puppies and kittens post surgery to help gain weight. I know this is weird but the label did not list the amount of suger and the ingredients listed sucrose so i tasted it and it is very sweet. i was just wondering if it is an option to help with weight gain. or to help increase the appetite so that maybe they will eat kibble better when not eating at all. i can post the entire label if needed.
