Krista, I found your post very confusing. It looks like you have mixed one thing that you actually tried which helped your ferret with several things that you postulate might have helped without knowing if they would or not. Having seen warnings that such ferrets can have trouble (at least at times, maybe more with some of these things) with bones, raw foods, egg shells, and heavy cream I think that it would help the person with the sick ferret to know which things you think might work vs. which things you actually did use that worked.
Also, was the medication 0.2? Was it mg or ml? If ml what was the concentration (mg/ml)? How many times a day was it given? How large was your ferret? (That said, medication types and doses need to be designed by a vet for a particular individual's needs, but knowing what helped another can always be useful.)
