Do NOT stop the meds on your own. The fur loss could have a different cause but more likely a cortical fragment remained. The problem is that does not necessarily mean that the fragment can produce the essential adrenal products which the Prednisolone and Fludrocort replace. You could even wind up with her needing those meds and Lupron along with melatonin.

Your vet may choose to do a trial without meds to check electrolytes, but if so it is necessary to know that a crash can happen if the meds are needed. When we had one in that situation we chose to not risk it. In her case a fragment was grown into the Vena Cava so we always knew this could happen.
