Subject: [ferrethealth] My Friend Ruckus

Hello Everyone,
My good buddy, Ruckus, about two weeks ago lost most of his fur in the all too often well known pattern of an adrenal fuzzbutt. This is the second of our eight to present these symptoms, Samuel being our first. Samuel is just over a year postop and is doing super! We did not do any lab work prior to his surgery due to our financial situation and took the gamble that he did have adrenal disease and we were right. Big ol' dime sized gland and his spleen was humongous with some pathological changes seen so it came out also.
Well, we are in the same situation now, symptoms but no lab work to back them up. We have scheduled surgery for Tuesday at noon and we hope we are making the right decision.
Any thoughts, comments would be greatly appreciated. Also any advice concerning postop which isn't posted already, care, things to watch for, look out for, etc. will be gladly taken into consideration also!
