Subject: [ferrethealth] More questions on IBD/prednisolone

Hi everyone,
We now have Theo on 0.5ml of prednisolone once a day (1mg per ml). The vet also gave him a shot that is meant to last 10 days to see how he would respond. He's on the Hills z/d diet. He has put on about 150gm over the past week and half and his energy level has increased immensely. However his stools are still very frequent, light in colour and very soft. Does this sound normal or should I expect a change in his faeces? How about the starting dosage, does it sound right? The vet is experimenting at the moment as she's never treated a ferret with it before.
