Subject: [ferrethealth] RE: Right after 2nd adrenal removal - How to proceed?
We have had some ferrets for whom the adrenals both came out so cleanly that there was no chance of enough tissue regrowth over time to provide the essential adrenal products, and they were on the meds for the rest of their lifetimes, typically years. In one case that was over 5 year with no negative effects whatsoever.
