If that statement is true I think some breeding stock has become seriously
degraded. About 2 years ago a UK breeder told me he had seen kit development
retarded after he had changed to only feeding dry food 3 seasons earlier. If
generation after generation is being reared on nothing but kibble I can only
see ferret health getting steadily worse. In over 40 years I have never seen
a kit that did not have both eyes completely open by day 28 but I don't feed
mothers or kits on kibble. Chris
