Subject: [ferrethealth] RE: prednisone causes adrenal symptoms?
It is not common, but, yes, it can happen. In about 25 years with ferrets we have had it twice here that I can recall, both on high doses.
We have also had one whose fur loss was never explained, even by necropsy and was thought to maybe be a rare age related loss in her case..
