Never stop the replacement medications which replace adrenal products unless your vet has reason to think that it is safe for this particular ferret and even then be careful.
If one of the meds does not work well for the individual then try the alternative medications.
The essential products you are replacing help with hydration and with the proper BALANCE of electrolytes needed for the cells to survive as well as the amount.
THE ADDISON CRISES WHICH RESULT FROM STOPPING THESE MEDICATIONS FOR THOSE WHO NEED THEM ARE FATAL.
