Hi All,
This morn I took Cowboy to the vet cause his litle ear was so red and i didnt know
that ferrets can get ear infections but anyways his ear drum looked real bad i had been
cleaning it out and trying to dr him myself befor giving in and taking to the vet. I had
to look back a few days worth of mail to find this cause i had disagreed with ferrets
getting ear infections well i got my first case this morn. Cowboy also had been kinda
whining as well so i feel bad for not taking him in sooner just thought id let yas know
about it.. Susan nwa_ferret_shelter

We had a ferret with the same thing about 6 months ago. It was a first for
us. A friend had her ferret come down with the same thing around 2-3 months
later ( no contact with our ferret). I have never seen anything like this
before and none of the other ferrets developed the problem. the one common
thread was undiagnosed earmites...
