Subject: [ferrethealth] Proglycem dosages

I have a question regarding dosage of Proglycem. I was doing a search on the
health list for this drug and found a post by Dr Murray that referred to an
article in Modern Ferret. I have that issue and in it he states that the
starting dosage for this drug is 5mg/kg 2-3 times a day. I have a ferret that
weighs approximately 1550 gms and his Proglycem is compounded 20mg/ml. How does
this translate to the 5mg/kg dosing? And how does this translate to
milliliters? What would be a recommended safe dosage of this drug for my ferret.
