I don't think the raw egg yolk is "good" for teeth, I think too much could cause dirty teeth/ tartar. Also don't know about the coat but egg yolks are good and nutritious and would at least make a good treat. Don't know how much you would feed a week, either. When I feed ground chicken and beef, there's 2 egg yolks in it for 14 ferrets...
Nobody has ever gotten sick from the raw meat or the raw egg. I eat 2 raw egg yolks most mornings and have not gotten sick, either. Egg whites and yolks should theoretically be bacteria free, I think I heard that a membrane on the inside of the shell keeps bacteria out as bacteria could harm a chick. I think only bad farming practices (battery hens, mass production) could result in contaminated (inside) eggs, when the shell is not thick enough, porous, or broken. So I only buy free range eggs and usually from local farmers. That's for me to eat. I have fed raw meat and raw eggs for 5 years with no problems at all, even to sick ferrets with a compromised immune system.
