I think raw egg has been a staple TREAT for UK ferrets for ages. Certainly you see it mentioned in old books etc. I have fed my ferrets beaten raw egg as a treat every now then. And again I think it's meant to be a tonic for them - they love it.

I think it's the albumen that can potentially cause a problem with balding which is why egg shouldn't be fed too often. If it's cooked apparently balding isn't a problem. Kits shouldn't be fed raw egg.

However, if they're not used to it, you may get a few runny bottoms.
