Stan, I am time deprived. Check Jerry and Vicki's replies to you and also read up on Addison disease and meds for remaining adrenal tissue in some of the links below. The person whose reply I included them in will be wondering why some of them are there, but they are there because I knew I needed to copy you, too. It IS possible to sometimes have enough of the part of adrenal tissue that causes the fur loss remaining while not having enough to create the adrenal products needed for survival (Addisons) so then you need to treat for both. We were in that spot with one of ours in the past.

Adrenal disease in ferrets is not like Cushings

The most accurate test for diagnosing adrenal disease in ferrets is the Tennessee Panel, done by the university of Tennessee.
