Subject: [ferrethealth] Rescued ferret; itchy
To: ferrethealth@smartgroups.com

THe ferret I rescued (skinny and abandoned) that the vet thinks may be
early adrenal has very itchy skin. I have some omega oils I can feed him,
but wondered if there are any topical treatments he can have that will help
immediately. Any sort of oil bath, skin spritzer, etc? Poor little
guy. He's feeling a *lot* better and the last couple days when I had him
out to play, he's actually done some ferret dancing and dooking. I thought
I'd never hear him dook (he's still pretty quiet.) He'll stop in the
middle of a freak out to scratch or lick though, so I know it's really
bothering him.
