My vet, who has done much of the US study work on Deslorelin, gives it as an implant. We found that a single implant lasted an average of 6-12 months with some ferrets going over a year. I t worked *much* better than lupron, melatonin, or the combo of the two. I am quite anxious for US approval- it has been a long time in coming.Tara----- Original Message ----- From: <ale_s_s_dias@hotmail.com>To: <ferrethealth@smartgroups.com>Sent: Friday, December 02, 2005 7:11 AMSubject: [ferrethealth] RE: Melatonin - When to increase the dosage?Yes. I found Deslorelin here, which seems to be the generic name of Suprelorin (is this correct?). Does it substitute Lupron? How should it be used? Injections or orally? What´s the dosage? How many times a day?
