Subject: [ferrethealth] Enlarged Prostate - Question
Our shelter has a ferret that is 9 years old with inoperable adrenal disease. His prostate is very enlarged and the shelter vet has him on Cipro for the infection, etc. He has his melatonin implant and just today he had a lupron shot (not sure yet of the dosage). I've searched the archives and found out about Propecia for enlarged prostates (I remembered reading that before). Is there anything else that can be recommended and what type of dosage would it be?? This is a sweet boy and the shelter Mom is doing everything possible to help.
Thanks in advance,
Florence Love
