Subject: [ferrethealth] RE: Bandit update
To: ferrethealth@smartgroups.com

I am sorry to read that. We had an adult adoptee who developed a similar tumor. In her case it also caused her to develop Level 3 A/V Heart Node Block. Yes, it is not common, and yes the location and size (and perhaps effect on pancreatic behavior?) can cause GI tract inflammation. (It can also work in the other direction; we had one with a stomach malformation among other problems and when it kicked up it would throw his liver and sometimes pancreas out of whack.) Again, I am sorry you unavoidably lost Bandit but very glad that you tried so hard for him because he left knowing that he was deeply loved, and -- yes -- your vet was right.
