Subject: [ferrethealth] NEED HELP. Cincinnati area Veterinarians
To: ferrethealth@smartgroups.com

Hey everyone

Okay, I've taken my two year old male to three different veterinarians now. The first
two were unable to detect a single thing wrong with him, despite his dramatic
weight loss and hair thinning around his face. I took him most recently to yet
another veterinarian who found that Eddie has an enlarged spleen that MAY be
caused by adrenal disease, but he did not make the diagnosis because he said there
was not sufficient evidence. Eddie has responded really well to the melatonin I
started giving him, which, people tell me, is definitely a sign of adrenal disease.

If anyone can recommend a veterinarian for me in the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky
area, I would very much appreciate it. I've seen [Names and hospital names

What I'm looking for is a veterinarian who can accurately diagnose Eddie and help
me figure out what needs to come next (surgery vs. medication vs. both)

I've had enormous amounts of trouble finding veterinarians that are experienced in
ferret care and diagnostics. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
