HI all,

Sorry I missed the first note on this.

But years ago, I read an article that said it was how much chocolate a
certain pound dog ate before he died. I then did math and figured a 170# human would
have to eat 5# of chocolate in one sitting to die.

Yes, it depends greatly on what kind of chocolate. Milk chocolate is low in
chocolate. The more bitter or darker the higher the chocolate content, even
those vary.

I had a ferret who liked chocolate and had nibbles. Never a whole M&M or
chip, more like a few licks or bit of cake.

As for human health, you need a high quality chocolate. I have been finding
70%. You need to eat 1-2 oz per day. It tastes good with Chianti. The dryness
of the wine works great with the bitter-sweet of the chocolate. I am sure there
are other great dry wines. I dropped my bad cholesterol by about 30 points.

Kathy.
