Subject: [ferrethealth] Scritch having a sort of relapse
We thought Scritch was doing better. He even climbed the big cage yesterday. But today he seems to have weakness in his back legs again, although he's still walking. If this is some kind of physical spinal injury (of which we're not sure) I could understand him maybe reinjuring himself somehow, although I'm not sure how. I'm just worried that there is more going on that we know about. What might some other possibilities be? Remember, he gained function after the initial loss of function of his back legs.
We were so happy he was getting better, and now this. We are re-confining him and keeping up the dosage of pred, so we'll see what happens. We will get him back in to see the doc this week.
Thoughts to all sick and ailing furry ones everywhere.
