Subject: [ferrethealth] Ferret Fell 5 Feet out of cage

My 4 yr old female who has dilated cardiomypathy and im not sure why she has very limited control over her back legs has fallen out of her cage which is up about 4 or 5 feet. She seemed almost partially paralyzed before the fall, her back legs seem very stiff and dont cooperate with her. My vet thought it might be because she is over weight but I dont think so. Now she is just dragging her back right leg more than the left. Is there something a vet can do for a broken leg or hip ? I am going to take her to emergency vet now for x-ray but they are not ferret knowlegeable there.
