Subject: [ferrethealth] Blue belly
To: ferrethealth@smartgroups.com

For some weeks now my 5½ year old Jingo has a blue belly, just in front of his penis. At first I thought that maybe he'd got stuck on a cage bar when getting out of the cage, but the blue stays there. It has nothing to do with hair starting to grow either, as he's an albino.
With Jingo it's very difficult to tell whether he's not feeling well, as he's been very lazy all his life, he gets out of the cage, takes a walk around the room, and finds a place to sleep.
His belly is fat, but it's always fat, especially at this time of the year.
I'm planning on making an appointment with the vet next week, but I'd like to know if anyone has seen this kind of thing before.
