Five days is not normal. The problem *could* be that
the right adrenal gland has atrophied and that the
lethargy you are seeing is surgically induced
Addison's Disease. If so this could become life
threatening rather quickly. She needs to go back to
the vet for bloodwork. Make sure he or she checks
your ferret's electrolytes.

BTW, if this is Addison's it is possible the right
gland will start working again but your ferret may
need medications to supplement her adrenal function
(florinef/fludrocortisone and prednisone or
prednisolone/pediapred) for a time until that happens.

There could, of course, be many other possible causes.
I would definitely get her back to the vet ASAP if
she were mine.

Yes, adrenal surgery is major but mine usually haven't
understood why I didn't want them running or playing
the next day.
