Subject: [ferrethealth] Safety of Totally Ferret Liquid Ear Swabs

Hello all,
While at the vet's today I mentioned that I love Totally Ferret's liquid filled ear swabs. My vet expressed concern over the fact that they contain tea tree oil as this is toxic to felines. Is it also toxic to ferrets?
According to the package the swabs contain Yucca, Tea Tree Oil, and Clove Oil and they were developed in conjunction with a vet...
Am I putting my kiddos at risk by using this product?
