Subject: RE: [ferrethealth] yellow fur
To: ferrethealth@smartgroups.com

Steve and I were trying to recall if a male we had years ago who had lympho in an adrenal gland which caused a simulated rut in him got yellowed at first. I know that later he got very dry skinned and had large blackheads that bothered him so that he liked to be oiled and have the blackheads gently scraped over so that the very superficial ones would come out; it was something that only "Mom" was allowed to do, though, so that helps me remember it. That was over 20 years ago, though, so our recollections are somewhat reduced about specifics.

yellowing fur

You'll want to get the results; on spot checking a few that looked like possibles that was the one I found that seemed potentially applicable, at least for males of unknown background or maybe for ones with a retained testicle.
