Subject: [ferrethealth] to help spot poisonous plants and other poison info
To: ferret-list@cunyvm.cuny.edu, ferrethealth@smartgroups.com

I am trying (unsuccessfully right now) to find something I read a few
days ago, but spotted these things which can help others.

Among other things, this one relates to a cleaning product question
recently posed in the FHL:

http://www.avonvets.co.uk/2ndyr_hands/Poisons.html

Remember the two poison control numbers in the U.S. for affected
animals:
ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center's emergency hotline at
(888) 426-4435
Angell Memorial Animal Medical Center Pet Poison Hotline
1-877-2ANGELL (1-877-226-4355)

Over the space of two days recently I was asked to help with searches
involving three separate types of poisoning accidents in ferrets (one
fatal), so right now I am very aware of this stuff and of the need to
keep the numbers posted in hard copy in one's home in case of a
computer crash.
