Subject: [ferrethealth] RE: Post-surgery diabetes & kidney failure
Just an update.
His kidneys are failing, too. The vet says his situation is grave, but they are still
pushing fluids in hopes that his kidneys somehow bounce back.
I was overconfident about surgery... I figured if it was Dr X, there couldn't be any
problems. Stupid me. Of course, now I'm wondering why DrX office didn't check Bear's
glucose before discharging him on Friday. I wish I had been on the alert earlier for
diabetes... could have saved his kidneys.
I'm somehow still praying for some sort of miracle. Anyone know any really powerful
ferret gods?
Sigh.
Andrea
