I don't have a jar in front of me, but Gerber's 2nd stage chicken or turkey is mostly chicken or turkey. If I recall correctly, there might be some onion powder and definitely water, but for all intents and purposes, it's all meat. Definitely no veggies, rice or macaroni!

I'd stay away from baby food with veggies or macaroni in it, and the rice... I guess it depends on how much there is in it. If the ferret is not eating and the choice is starvation or chicken/turkey with rice, I think I'd go for the chicken/turkey with rice but before I'd do that, I'd use A/D.

A/D is a prescription diet available from vets. I'm not sure where you're located or if this is something that's available to you. Ask your vet.
