Subject: [ferrethealth] Questions about Lymphosarcoma & Lympho Leukemia in Ferrets
Our Wiley was diagnosed back on April 10, 2003 with Lymphosarcoma and Lympho Leukemia and we were wondering if anyone knew the expected life span after a ferret is diagnosed with such conditions?
Wiley's spleen has gotten extremely large and he seems to be becoming more uncomfortable, making little grunting and squeaking noises when we moves, could this be due to the enlarging of the spleen or is something else going on related to the Lympho Leukemia.
I know there is loads of info on Lymphosarcoma in the archives, but I haven't found anything at all on Lympho Leukemia in ferrets.
Mary
