Subject: [ferrethealth] UPDATE: Prolapsed Rectum, Congestive Heart Failure & Medication Dosage?

We lost our little Clyde to these conditions on December 17, 2005.
We feel that if the first vet that saw him for this conditions had acted quickly with x-rays, bloodwork & medication he might still be alive today. When our regular vet saw Clyde, he was shocked that the vet that saw him when we first took him in just put everything off because of his age, he was either 9 or 10 years old.
So please folks, don't let your vets give you such information. If they contribuate your ferrets illness to age, please demand they do tests to find the true reason for the illness.
