Subject: [ferrethealth] 40- 50 ml ringers every other day

Hi all.
I'm still writing about Bear, the ferret with diabetes-induced acute kidney failure. His levels were normal yesterday, so he's home. I just have a minor question, which I already bugged Pam with. The vet is off until Tuesday - I left him a message. He suggested we give Bear 40-50 ml of Ringers (sub-cu) every other day. We were thinking we would go smaller more often. Anyone foresee any problems with this?? We gave him 20 cc's last night, and it was a pretty big golfball. I can't imagine 50ccs!
