Yes. Nyssa (seven and a half years old, has lymphoma)
needs her ears cleaned every couple of days. If I
neglect them at all the inside looks practically
black. It's wax, not mites.
I do not know if this is related to her illness or
not. I've had ferrets who were a couple of years
older than she is now who did not have the problem.
I don't think obesity has anything to do with it.
Nyssa is decidedly underweight, a consequence of
cachexia caused by her lymphoma.
