Subject: [ferrethealth] ibd setback. advice?

Hi everyone,
I have a 3 year old male ferret names Theo suffering from IBD. He's on a diet of the hills z/d and 5mg of prednisolone daily. He was diagnosed a few months ago and made progess in leaps and bounds. He went from 535 grams to about 850 in the space of about a month. He now has lost weight again and is down to 650 grams and totally listless. I'm feeling really disheartened. I'm in regular contact with my vet but wondering if anyone has any ideas. Our vet is open to ideas as it's the first case she's had (ferrets aren't very popular here in Australia).
