Subject: [ferrethealth] BG of 23 with no indicators
To: ferrethealth@smartgroups.com

I took CB (est. age of 6 y/o) to the vet on Saturday for his BG test (done every 8 weeks) and he was at an all time low of 23! This was not really as fasting test as I found his little face buried in the food bowl at 11 AM and the test was at 2:45 PM CB was on .4cc PediaPred once a day. We have now increased to .5 CC twice a day. He also had his 2nd meleton implant in November.
On my way back home I stopped at a friends house and brought CB in with me. He ran up and down the stairs, war danced on the sofa and acted just fine.
Why would his BG be so low all of a sudden and how could he play like nothing was wrong.
Connie, CB, Piper, Penelope, JD and introducing Flip!
Missing Butch, Maggie and Chloe at the bridge
