Subject: [ferrethealth] ferret poop

Last summer when my ferret was a baby he had 1 litter box, ate Marshall's (often moiste & warm), and pooped frequently the size and consistency of tootsie rolls. Now this winter, 1 yr old, switched to FerretStore Original, Natural Gold, Zupreem, Totally Ferret Baby (weaning off), & 8-in-1 Ultimate, his poop looks longer, thinner, spread out between 5 litter boxes, and dries out quickly (perhaps due to winter heat)?
Is that type of change in consistency of poop normal?
