It's a good and useful list, and I look forward to seeing your additions.

One caution: mixing meds -- solid or liquid -- with something good tasting can be a great technique. Aside from nutrical, you can also use ferretone, peanut butter, a bit of banana, and other things. However, ALWAYS check with the pharmacist before doing this with any particular med, and tell him what you plan to use as a carrier. Some meds should not be taken with food, while others can react badly with certain types of food.

Another idea is to get the bad-tasting meds from a compounding pharmacist. They can often turn them into a safe liquid suspension with flavorings that ferrets love, including meat flavors, which a regular pharmacist can't do. (Take a look in the files section of the FHL Web site, under "Reference Shelf" for more information on compounding pharmacists).
