Subject: [ferrethealth] Final Stages Of Insulinoma
Hello all,
First I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to everyone for all of the valuable information you post to the Ferret Health List! Every day is a learning experience!
And now...a question. My sweet boy Daggett (he'll be 8 in May) was diagnosed with Insulinoma 2 years ago. He did not have surgery because he wasn't a good candidate at the time, so we've been managing it with medication.
I was just curious, what are the signs when the meds stop working and it's time to start thinking about helping your little one to the "Rainbow Bridge"?
I don't think we're there yet, but I wanted to knwo what to be on the look out for.
Thanks again!
Leslie, Bean and Daggett
