Leslie, a tip for when your little sweetheart gets to the point where the meds no longer control the insulinoma and the dosages can no longer be increased: at that point some ferrets are helped to get extra quality time by always having safe sugary things available. We have used Nutrical or Nutristat for that purpose, with the best result by a wide margin being one who got an extra 3 good months.
